Walk of Shame, G-Man, Next Generation Book 1 by Andrea Smith was a great 5 star read.
Romance, Hot Alpha

    description

“Own it. Say it out loud, say it proud, but stop playing games if you ever expect to be taken seriously.”

Loved it, definitely a book that I couldn’t put down until the end. A great college read.

“Hey, Peyton…want to hear a joke about my dick? Aww, never mind. It’s too long.”
“Oh really. Well, do you want to hear a joke about my pussy? Never mind, Weston, you won’t get it.”

Weston is quite the ladies man or he likes to think so anyway. When he starts to struggle with his grades he risks the chance of not being able to play Hockey. This is where Penny comes into the picture as his tutor.

Penny does tutoring to make extra money. Will tutoring Weston be worth it?
I loved Penny, she is a spitfire that gave back as much as she got from Weston.
She is also using Weston as her topic in a thesis she is working on. What were her results be?

After a few headbutting moments Penny and Weston start to develop a friendship. Will Penny see through Weston’s games and get to the real person underneath?

“And I watch as he stands up, gives me one last look, and then walks out of the room and, ultimately, out of my life.”

I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what is next in this series. It shows that fate steps in and puts people in your path for a reason. Don’t judge until you meet and get to know a person.
Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. The secondary characters also add a great element to the story. Love all the bantering. Thank you Andrea Smith for a great read!

When Alex finds out that Stephanie will be doing an exclusive interview with him, his past memories start to flood him. He is still wearing the ring that she had given him so many years before. His lifestyle of drinking and random hook ups has been an attempt to forget her. Will Alex be able to convince Stephanie to give him a chance? Will these two damaged people be able to help each other?

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying good-bye so hard.”

I was captured right away and couldn’t put it down. I loved both of these characters, they were well developed  Both Alex and Stephanie had things in their pasts that they never knew how to deal with. I am emotionally exhausted, ugly cry guaranteed. The sex scenes were also very HOT. I am excited to see where Jennifer Loring takes this series.  Thank you for the great read.

    Review
    5 works of Art

Gold Dust Woman is book 8 of The Club series. This particular book is a stand alone book that can be read on its own. However the series piggyback one another. So you may want to read the previous books to get a better understanding of characters mentioned that appeared in earlier books. I have not read the first 4 books, but I did read the Mad Dog Days part.
If you have read my reviews of the Mad Dog Days books, you may have noticed that I gave them a 4 rating. Gold Dust Woman is a dead on 5. I really connected with the characters in this book. Cole, who was in Mad Dog Days continues to be the hero in these books and it is about time that he gets the woman. Felicity has only loved one man, but Jae Rothko has moved on with Rose, (The Club books 1, 2, and 3 Black Dog Nights.) Jae gives Felicity the business card for The Club. What does she have to lose? It is a dating club for rich people, right? Wrong, it is a Club where she get full, exclusive access to Cole Tuala. What happens when that full access crosses the line of pay as you go to feelings and wanting more? Read about Cole and Felicity. They make the perfect couple.
