Synopsis

They used to be the perfect team.

Two years ago, songstress Sidney Higgins ruined her life by sleeping with not one, but two of the famous Reckless Beat men, Mason Lynch and Sean Taiden. Their night of intimate celebration turned into a worldwide sensation when the video Mason vowed to keep private was uploaded to the internet, destroying her squeaky-clean reputation and turning the world against her. Now she’s broken and left without hope, trying to find the one thing that can get her back on her feet.

A mistake neither one of them is willing to forgive.

When the sex tape went viral and his best friends held him accountable, Mason bore the stigma of asshole with pride. Now, bitterness has destroyed him, driving away his muse and making him worthless in the industry he loves. There’s only one option left to reclaim his creativity, but that would mean collaborating with a woman who wants to castrate him with a plastic knife.

A palpable chemistry even hate can’t diminish.

Forced to work together, neither one of them is prepared for the undesired lust which immediately takes hold. The lies fade away, exposing the truth; however, it also awakens a threat from their past. The person responsible for tearing them apart is back to ensure they don’t rekindle a spark. With their safety in the balance, Sidney and Mason need to determine what they’re willing to risk to reclaim a relationship they wish they’d never lost.

Interview with Mason Lynch

Name(s):
Mason: Mason Lynch aka Mr. Fanfuckingtastic

Family:
Mason: I have a remarkably annoying sister, Toni. And my mother is as harmless and annoying as a moderately sized hemorrhoid.

Physical appearance:
Mason: Brown eyes, Blonde hair. 100% fuckable, if I do say so myself.
Why will reader sympathize with this person right away?
Mason: Not at all. He’s arrogant, annoyingly so. But if you did a little deeper, you might expose someone different.

In your opinion, what is your best feature?
Mason: Just one? It’d be a shorter list if I mentioned my worst features.

Where do you live?
Mason: I have two homes. A mansion in Richmond, Virginia where I can relax and spend time in the studio at my leisure. I also have a penthouse apartment in New York where all the craziness happens.

What one word best describes you?
Mason: Perfect.
What were you like in high school?
Mason: I was in the popular crowd. Always have been.

What were your high school goals?
Mason: Does popping cherries count?

What is your boss like?
Mason: Leah Gorman, the Reckless Beat band manager is a pit bull. If my mother is a hemorrhoid, Leah is akin to a colonoscopy. She’s always up my ass, trying to expose all the shit she can in an effort to ‘protect me from myself’.

What are your bandmates like?
Mason: My bandmates are my brothers. I love them with all my heart and want to kill them in the same breath.

What is something you had to learn that you hated?
Mason: To be humble. I’m not very good at it.

Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do?
Mason: I will never, ever again tape myself having sex.

Describe the perfect romantic partner for you.
Mason: I’ve been told the best partner for me would be someone who could love me more than I love myself. I’m not sure I’ll ever find that woman.

What do you do when you are bored?
Mason: I don’t have the luxury of boredom. If I’m not on tour, doing promo or with friends, I’m creating music for the next album. It never stops. Hopefully it never will.

Interview with Eden Summers on Undesired Lust

Hello and Welcome All!
Today I’m very lucky to be interviewing Eden Summers author of the Reckless Beat series.
Hi Eden, thank you for agreeing to this interview.

Eden: Thank you for having me. I’m excited to be here.

What do you do when you are not writing?

Eden: Drink vodka…does that count?
Just joking…kinda.
In reality, I’m either doing motherly duties for my two boys, working part time or reading. Most of the time I’m writing though, or promoting J There isn’t a lot of spare time to do much else once the word target is hit for the week.

Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way wither growing up or as an adult?

Eden: There’s a long list of authors who have taught me innumerable things, from how to write, to what NOT to do when writing and promoting.
It’s a constant learning process. The industry is changing all the time with authors pushing new boundaries.

If you could have given your characters one piece of advice before the opening pages of the book, what would it be and why?

Eden: To both Sidney and Mason — forgive and forget. Suck it up. Deal with it. Move on…Remember a condom!
But if I told them that beforehand we wouldn’t have Undesired Lust ;)

What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?

Eden: Both protagonists are song writers, so I had a great deal of fun writing lyrics. Mason’s muse plays with him throughout Undesired Lust. You get to see the snippets that are thrown into his head at any given time. And there are also a few verses from a humorous song Sidney put together on the spot, which is dedicated to Mason’s womanizing ways.

Which of your prior characters would you most/least likely invite to dinner and why?

Eden: I’m always going to be a sucker for Blake from Passionate Addiction—tattooed, damaged and big-hearted—he’s my go-to guy. I’d love to sit down with him and let him know just how proud I am of him.
There may also be the need to swipe all the food from the table and have my wicked way with his inked body too.

Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview.

Eden: Thank you for having me. I hope you all enjoy my rockers.

Blurb
All Gavin Walker, bass player for the multi-platinum selling band, Sphere of Irony, wants to do is surf, play music, and occasionally get laid. The problem is that Gavin has a stalker. A potentially deadly one. The threats he receives always mention something about Gavin being gay, which isn't public knowledge since the record label wants to keep it quiet.

Mitch Hale used to track serial killers for the FBI. A live-changing incident led him to quit the bureau and start his own company providing computerized security for Los Angeles' wealthiest people. Mitch doesn't know anyone when he moves across the country from D.C. to California, and all he has for companionship is a pathetic string of failed relationships with women.

When Gavin's manager hires Mitch to find the stalker, the men instantly hate each other. Despite the constant fighting, attraction between the two blazes hot, confusing the former FBI agent. Spending time with Gavin forces Mitch reflect on what he's denied about himself for the last ten years. Listening to Mitch's plan to catch a madman thrusts Gavin's personal life out in the open for the entire world to see.

Can Gavin and Mitch stop fighting long enough to stop a stalker before someone gets hurt? Or will they stubbornly resist the feelings that develop when they're forced to work together?

This is book 3 in a 4 part series. It is a spin-off of the Famous Series. These can be read as standalones.

Excerpt

“I need a drink,” I mutter to no one in particular.
Adam Reynolds must hear me complaining because he places what I assume is a Jack and Coke in my empty hand.
“Here you go, mate.” He grins and I can’t help but smile back. The man’s enthusiasm is infectious.
Gavin, the sourpuss, is currently glaring at me from across the room. So much for us being an item. In the car, Gavin’s excitement at pretending to be boyfriends to lure out his stalker and the accompanying smile he gave had me sprouting questionable wood for most of the drive. Now he’s reverted right back to being a little shit. Hot and cold.
“Thanks, but I’m working—”
“I’ll take it, honey.” Gavin swoops in, steals the glass, and downs half of it before I can blink. I stand there, paralyzed, while I watch his pink lips caress the edge of the glass. “Thanks, dear,” he snaps, pulling me from my gawking. Before I can reply he turns and stomps off to pout somewhere.
I’m annoyed at his attitude and the distance he’s kept between us tonight. What. The. Hell. No way is he going to up and disappear on me at another party. Especially after we paraded ourrelationship in front of the media to lure his stalker out of the shadows.
“Sorry guys,” I apologize to Adam and his wife, Ellie. I was happy to finally meet them both after everything Gemma had told me about the couple when I gave her Adam’s phone number last year. Now I have to cut our conversation short because of yet another Gavin Walker temper tantrum.
Weaving through the crowd at the club, I follow Gavin to the back hallway that houses the kitchen and bathrooms. Once I’m out of sight of the other guests, I grab a shocked Gavin’s upper arm and shove him into the men’s room.
“Hey! Quit being an asshole!” Gavin wrenches out of my grip, turning to sneer. “I’ll put you on your knees again, Hale!”
The thought of being on my knees in front of Gavin sends a flush of heat up my body. I can feel the fire in my cheeks and by the way Gavin’s eyes widen, I’m betting he can see it too.
“I’m not the one behaving like a brat!” I growl in a low voice. Ducking, I check to make sure no one else is in the stalls. Once I’ve made sure it’s clear, I lock the bathroom door.
“Brat?” Gavin shouts. “I’m a brat?”
“Yes, you’re a brat. Ever since we had our picture taken outside, you’ve been unbearable to be around!”
“You’re not the one whose entire life was just turned upside down out there!” he yells.
I step closer, more furious than I’ve ever been. “Are you kidding me? You are so unbelievably self-centered!” Those damn hypnotizing full lips fall open in shock. “I was just outed too, and I’m not even fucking gay!”
Without thinking, I grab either side of his head, digging my fingers into that thick, blonde hair, and crush my mouth over his.
And it’s the hottest kiss of my life.
Just, damn.

When tattooed hard-bodied Dylan Luck dropped out of college and started his empire in his mom’s garage, he never dreamed it would put him in the Forbes list of Top 100 Richest Men. He also never thought he’d find himself at the Cielos Resort for a week long vacation.
Twenty-one-year-old political science student Eleanor Chase isn’t the type of girl to want things she can’t have. But when she wins a cheesy mall sweepstakes for a seven day all expense paid vacation to the prestigious resort, she packs up her best friend Dixie for some fun in the sun—if she can forget her ex-dirtbag, Drew. Dylan can have his pick of any woman—and he has— until his sights are set on Ellie. Her good girl innocence drives him wild and he won’t take no for an answer. Her heart won’t let her say yes. Men like Dylan—gorgeous, powerful, and rich—usually aren’t interested in girls like her. She still can’t help dreaming of him, even though she knows, it’s just a summer fling—or is it? Ten years

It’s been ten years since he ripped my heart out and left me broken and destroyed.

Ten years of rebuilding, of moving on.

But do you ever really move on from your first love?

Now faced with the past, how do we deal with the future?

Colin

Ten years.

She left me a hollow man. No one has captured my heart since.

Ten years spent focusing on my career and having fun.

That is until she reappears in my life.

Can I convince her to give us a second chance?

What do you say about yourself? Aren’t we supposed to write these in third person? Oh well, here I go! I have been writing and reading since I was able to pick up a pen and read a book. I can’t even begin to list the amounts of book that I’ve devoured over the course of my life; from the Babysitter’s Club to R.L.Stein to the classics and the novels of my degrees. I have spent countless hours between the covers of classics during my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Connecticut State University, resulting in a BA English: Comparative Literature and a MA English: Professional Writing.
Recently, I have been focusing both my writings and my readings in erotica, BDSM and contemporary romance. And no, Fifty Shades of Grey did not get me on the BDSM bandwagon. If anything it opened the idea up more to me, but alas I have my own opinions on the trilogy.
I am trying to focus my writings on the emotional aspects of the erotic world, the emotional bondage of BDSM. I am interested in what makes people want to be dominant or submissive, the connection, etc. But I do like to read about a good flogging and bondage story too, the smuttier the better. :)
I live in New England with a wonderful family that keeps me busy when I am not at my day job or writing. I hope you enjoy your stay.

ALPHA BOOK CLUB REVIEW

“He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer for a kiss.  A different feel to this one than he had been giving me.  This wasn’t filled with need or desire; this kiss was tender, sweet and soft.”

Five stars.  This book had everything you could ask for in one book.  Hot alpha male, Hot BDSM scenes, a strong female character and well hot sex.  This story was a lot of fun to read and I was instantly sucked into the pages.

Briana has sworn off men and any idea of a love life after her ex left her abruptly and suddenly about 10 years ago.  She’s now thrown herself into work for New York’s hockey team, and she loves her job, did I mention that her ex Colin is one of the star players?  And although she hasn’t had a run in with him yet, she knows it’s bound to happen.  Colin, the star hockey player and super Dom in the BDSM world is missing Briana and when he sees her one day, he knows he has to do everything in his power to win her back.  The minute Briana sees Colin again after so many years, she knows that she can’t deny him or the way she feels when he’s near her.  She tries to fight it but it doesn’t work.  They try to make their relationship work, but as usual there’s lots of interferences.  Can their relationship make it out alive??  Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone.
