This author writes a fast paced, fun loving novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. This book is the first in the Oxford Series. The second book Playing for Keeps is coming soon.

4 sexy sports stars!!!  I love a good baseball romance and this one did not disappoint!!!  It doesn’t hurt that I’m a huge baseball fan to begin with!!

Gavin was a huge star for the Dodgers, that is until he gets injured and let go, traded to New Jersey Sonics.  Jessica is a sports therapist for the Sonics and Gavin is sent to her to help him with his knee injury.  Jessica has one rule, she doesn’t date baseball stars.  But neither can deny the attraction that they both feel for each other.  But neither of them are looking for anything serious, which of course leads to complications.  I really enjoyed this book, I mean who doesn’t love a hot baseball player??  I know this girl does!!!  Great book!  This is a series, but each book can be read as a standalone.

I give this book 5 stars.

This is a great historical sexy read. I was surprised that I liked it because I have read other historical reads like this one and didn’t like them.

This one kept me turning the page and I loved Sarah who never stopped fighting for the man she wanted. She never wanted a title and even though that it was he though, he was wrong.

Sarah wants what we single ladies want, love and hot passion in the bedroom! We want all the things that other women have and that we don’t have.

Being deeply in love with someone can do a lot of damage on your heatr and I can relate with Sarah. Sarah agreed to a marriage just out of convince and I was in a relationship out of convience which was a waste of my time.

Now Sarah goes back and takes what she wants and I applaud her. Jonathan was hard to like because he turned Sarah away after inheriting money from family. I think the money turned his heart cold and he got a slap of reality when he turned Sarah away.

Now he knows how to pleasure woman and thinks he will get Sarah back, I think she should use him but you will have to find out what happens.

I recommend you get this book and read it. It’s HOT and sizzling!

I won’t lie I didn’t finish this story, I just couldn’t get into it and I never really felt anything for the characters, which is unfortunate since I love this genre.
