"Where was your dick last night?" Bear interrupted before sucking on his beer.
I glared at him, grinding my teeth. "There's a lady at the table," I warned, leaning forward in my chair.
He glanced around before looking at me. "Who?" he asked as his eyebrows drew together.
I shook my head, wondering if he'd had a few too many already. "Sunshine," I snapped motioning toward her.
He laughed. "She's one of the guys now. I've heard her say some pretty nasty shit. Ain't that right, Sunshine?" He winked at her, giving her a smile hidden behind his hairy face.
She giggled as she sucked on the straw inside the girly drink she loved so much. "Yeah," she said with the straw still hanging from her lips. "So where was it?" she asked, her cheeks turning pink.
"Where was what?" I asked, trying to pretend I'd forgotten the original question.
"Your thing," she replied as she set her drink down.
The entire table erupted into laughter. Sunshine was a good girl, hell she still was. She may have hung around with a crowd that cursed as if it were our common language, but she still couldn't use the words herself.
"See," I said, pointing at Sunshine. "She's still an innocent."
City choked on his beer and wiped his lips. "She's far from that, Frisco."
Bear slapped the table, tears forming in his eyes. "If she's married to that dirty bastard, she's far from innocent. Stop stalling. Since you're over her, why don't you tell us where your thing was last night?" He raised an eyebrow, challenging me to answer.
