Emma James lives in Queensland, Australia with her supportive husband,

three children and a big black Labrador. Life is busy and most entertaining

in the James household.

Writing has been a part of her life for many years. Life was getting on and

it was time to put her fears aside and do what she does best. It was time

to show readers what she was made of, take that leap off the diving board

5 Tears

Why, you may ask five tears. This story starts off with a horrific first chapter that immediately draws you into a story of heartbreak and how five lifelong friends suffer a devastating tragedy. A tragedy that claims one and leaves the other four scarred physically and emotionally. The young woman, Faith, who joins these beautiful men to finally let go of the brother she lost six years ago. Faith realizes that not only did she lose her big brother, but in her grief she abandoned his best friends who are trying to put the pieces of their lives back together with the guilt of surviving what their best friend did not. Now Faith will be the key to help these wonderful men get over their emotional pain.

Emma James has a unique writing style that brings the point of view of each character into play. You know their thoughts and feel their feelings as you progress through their individual stories. This will be a  five book series with one novella added to it. The second book is out now Hope Is Lost (Ocean Beach Book 2).

I highly recommend this book. Warning it contains some graphic violence as well as sexual content.
