Between Two Wolves by Catherine Vale

BetweenTwoWolvesRBBanner BetweenTwoWolves 35fe1-add-to-goodreads-button31button synopsis
Recently single, Risha Reynolds wants nothing more than to escape for a weekend of hiking in the mountains. Burned by her ex, and angry as hell, she desperately needs the peace and quiet. Far, far away from the jerk who left her.
Besides, what better time to climb a treacherous mountain, and say goodbye to the world below, than after a rough breakup? What's the worst that can happen?
What Risha doesn't know, is that peace and quiet isn't the only thing she'll find when far away from civilization. She's heard the campfire stories of the beasts that go bump in the night, but Risha isn't the kind of girl that believes in myth and magic. Yet when she comes face to face with two wildly handsome strangers, she has to admit that they aren't like any others she's ever known.
If there's one thing she's certain of, it's that Colt and Jericho are hiding a secret, but when she is given the opportunity to uncover the truth, will she be willing to see what they really are?
If she opens her mind, her heart will follow...
Every woman knows that there is no better place to be than in the arms of a sinfully possessive man... except perhaps, between two wolves.

ALPHA BOOK CLUB REVIEW

Title: Between Two Wolves

Series Name:  -

Author: Catherine Vale

Genre: Romance

Overall Stars:  5 STARS

Paranormal

Shifters

She left to find herself and found her place with two men

Luscious and curvy, that’s what they called me as they shared me. Jericho behind me, his

viking-huge hands on my hips, and Colt in front of me, his muscular thighs parted, generously

saluting, taking what was his with a hand fixed in my fiery red hair.… So my fiancĂ© had cheated.

Who cares.

Well, I’d cared. For months. His betrayal had eaten me alive, filling me with resentment fueled

rage. I’d stopped seeing beyond the past at the cost of the present and the future. My life was

stuck.

Black Wolf Mountain was my answer. So, I went, leaving everyone I knew and loved behind as I

searched for myself in the wilderness. Instead, death found me lying in a bed soaked with my

own blood. But death is no match for a wolf…not my wolves. (Amazon blurb)

Ever since the first novel I’ve read from Catherine Vale, I’ve been an instant fan of hers. Her

storylines are hot, tempting and non-stop entertainment and Between Two Wolves is no

exception! My only complaint? Why was it so short?!? There was so much I would have loved to

know more about: such as the boys, Colts and Jericho, their history, how did their Red lure the

two of them to her and made her so special? What would make them want her to become a part

of their pack, other than the fact that she was in danger for her life? I absolutely loved the

paranormal aspect of the shifters, keeping up with the main aspects that we find in the majority

of this genre, where most experienced shifters can shift at will, are capable of understanding

language in their animal form and can create mate bonds with humans. Where it differs, and this

is what I’ve noticed with many authors, is whether or not shifters can be created by bite or not,

or if it’s only possible by blood. Vale has decided on her own path, which I, for reasons to not

giveaway for what I believe is an amazing part of the novel, will not divulge, but strongly

recommend adding to your to be read list and adding Catherine Vale on your to be watched list

as well.
