From the beginning we suspect Breanne has gone through hell and back, and from the short
nightmare we have managed to see, worst was done to her. Albeit her past, she still manages
to get up every morning for her children, make the decision to go back to work to make a living
and still manage to smile. As for Drew, he’s what I call a player, your typical human being that
believes they are impenetrable and a gift to others, and as such, should be revered. I’m so
happy Breanne gives him a dose of reality! I must admit, I have never heard of Teresa Michaels
nor of her novels and series. Before receiving my copy of Curveball, I hadn’t tracked down any
previous reviews or books for the simple fact that I wanted the experience of knowing whether
or not I personally enjoyed her; and quite honestly, I was overly impressed by not only the
storyline, but the connection between the characters that are relatable and the edge of your seat
suspense that keeps you coming back for more.
