What would you do if you ran into a real life book boyfriend?
You might scream or maybe giggle.
You might play coy or maybe stare.
You might ask for a picture or maybe an autograph.
You might call your girlfriends or maybe post about it.
What did I do? I ran. Literally.
Kim was a typical college student with a splash of dorky, a dash of funny, and a pinch of clumsy…well, maybe more than a pinch. After making a fool of herself in front of her classmate Brent, and his friend, Travis, a dead-ringer for one her book boyfriends, she tried to stay away. But after a few hilarious chance encounters, they became fast friends.
And then came the bet. It was Travis versus Brent, but somehow Kim got roped in to help team Travis. He was supposed to find and woo his real life book girlfriend. What could go wrong with a couple of college kids and an innocent bet? Let the shenanigans and laughter ensue! And maybe add in a bit of friendship, fun and most definitely, love.
DELETE IF NOT REVIEWING
DC Renee has been writing all her life, from cheesy poems in elementary school (i'll share an example just so you know how cheesy: Flowers are my favorite thing; they usually bloom during spring. Pink, blue, yellow and green, so many colors that I have seen...etc.) to short stories and monologues, and eventually fan fictions for Days of Our Lives.
It was thanks to that superbly encouraging fan fiction community that DC found the courage to publish her first book - Let Me Go. It held fast in the top 100 Best Selling Contemporary Romance Fiction Novels on Amazon for over a month, going as low as the top 20's. Naturally, she loves to read, but she also likes watching hockey, dancing for fun, and loves her family.

How many times does a group of ladies get together on facebook, on blogs or on chats and chat
about who could represent their perfect book boyfriend and which book described him. I know
I’ve had that same conversation with numerous friends, still do, and although I’m no closer to
finding my book boyfriend, it doesn’t change the fact that they are popular and the
personification of the type of man women fantasize about. How perfect is DC Renee’s novel
where THE book boyfriend happens to be Kim’s classmate’s friend Travis – it was full of
laughter, hilarious moments, banter and moments where you couldn’t help yourself but think ‘I
wish it was me!’. This is the type of read that you can read over and over and never think it old,
but rather, still find it entertaining no matter the age group. Quite frankly, I loved it and would
recommend it to any reader who simply wants to escape reality, no matter for how long.
