ALPHA BOOK CLUB REVIEW

Four stars. This book was a fun, fast paced read. There was serious heat between the main characters and the writing flowed well!

After walking in on her husband having sex with a student on his desk, Alicia decides it time for a change. Eight months later, divorced and looking for a change, Alicia moves to New Zealand. No friends, no family, only a job that waits for her. Moving into her flat she instantly finds a friend in Tia and her two male roommates. Alicia is instantly attracted to Hunter, the brooding but sexy pub worker, and not to mention member of a band, with his roommates. Alicia is guarding her heart, not sure if she’s ready to let anyone else in, but Hunter has his sights set on her. After a few casual encounters with Hunter he tells her he wants to take her on a proper date and explain why he’s so standoffish. Turns out his fiance’ was died from a freak drowning and like Alicia he’s guarded with his heart. That’s all it takes for Alicia to let her guard down and let love in. This story is about a whirlwind romance and a second chance at new love. I really loved this book, I read it in one sitting. Super cute and exciting to read!
