In this second installment of The Onyx Club, we get Brandon and Penny’s story. Brandon is forced to let Penny go out of his life when he realizes he can’t be the DOM she wants him to be. He doesn’t want to inflict the pain she so willingly wants and though he’s heartbroken he knows it’s within her best interest to find a new “Master.” A few weeks later, although heartbroken, Brandon decides to pick up the pieces and go out with Matthew and Nathan to a BDSM club. It’s there that he sees Penny again for the first time, and she’s with a new man. Not happy with what he sees, he sits back and watches her from afar. Penny has moved on to Lucifer, her new master and while she thinks he’s a good guy with a heavy hand, he’s anything but good. One fateful night while at the hospital with Daisy, Brandon’s and Matthew’s new employee, Brandon gets a phone call saying Penny was in a horrible auto accident and she’s being rushed to the hospital. I won’t go on too much from her so as not to spoil anything for anyone, but the story only gets better from here. Matthew and Brandon, make big plans and Brandon makes big decisions regarding him and Penny. I loved reading about Brandon and Penny’s story. Again I love this series, and I couldn’t help but be sucked into this book as well!! Great job!!
