He leans into me, his lips barely touching mine. I am yearning to feel the softness of them as he teases me with a slow lick of his lower lip. My eyes are entranced. His wet, velvety tongue glistens as if inviting me in. I’m visibly shaken as every ounce of my body feels like it’s now lit on fire. Braxton is intoxicating.

3 stars I’m not sure how I feel about this book overall. It’s not completely realistic, and I know most books are completely, but this book was different and not in a great way. It wasn’t overly horrible but it wasn’t amazing either. I’m on the fence really.

So Izzy is on the run from her previous life. She’s just left her abusive husband and ends up in Washington state. She moves next door to Braxton the larger than life biker. And while I get that there is immediate attraction, what I don’t find realistic is that Izzy just left an abusive relationship and she falls into bed with Braxton in seconds. Most women who’ve been through h@ll and back don’t just jump into bed with the next man that comes along. The rest of the book of course has normal complications and ups and downs. Braxton’s ex comes in and starts problems with him and Izzy, which causes more problems. I mean overall it was an okay book, it wasn’t my favorite by any means.
