This was a quick, fun Holiday treat by Brandon Witt.
On Christmas Eve, on a Dark snowy night - Paxton Peterson’s is out for his annual Night time snow shoe walk through the woods.
When he is literally almost run over by Logan Charles as he comes barreling over a hilltop on a snowmobile and forces Paxton to dive for safety in the branches of a recently fallen spruce. Not only is Paxton injured but the snowmobile is toast!
This would be a crises in a normal situation. But not with Paxton around you see Paxton, is a little bit of an OCD type personality as he explains:
"I’m the triple A of type A personalities. My Backpack of Safety alleviates any worry the snowfall might cause. I don’t know why more people don’t prepare for things adequately. It really does cause less stress. And, no, I wasn’t a Boy Scout. I might not meet their approval, being the gay man that I am, but I figure that it’s actually fair. They don’t meet my approval either. I’ve never met a Boy Scout who was half as prepared as I am for anything."
Thankfully Paxton has planned for almost everything and has a one man tent, food rations, a sleeping bag and more all in his bottomless backpack - so Paxton and Logan are able to set up camp for the night. In the middle of the woods. Almost sounds like the set up of a horror story, but wrong theme. CWhile in their cozy, one man tent... an impromptu game of 20 questions leads Paxton to learn that Logan is the Perfect Man! He is Hot. Kindergarten teacher. Looks like the Marlboro man (pre-smoking). He loves Pets. He is Gay!!
It doesn't take long once confirmation is made that Logan is gay and the clothes are flying off with the temperature rising in the tent!
The next morning arrives and it's time for Paxton to get home and put the finishing touches on his
Annual Gay Boy Christmas dinner & Horny Elf Gift Exchange
Paxton takes Logan home and on a whim invites Logan to join him at his house later for the celebrations. Will Logan show up or was their brief encounter strictly to be a Christmas Miracle of a Recently Fallen Spruce? Check out the book to see!!
I have to say that for a short novella length book it was a really cute story that was surprisingly developed ..the MC had some depth to them and it wasn't simply a bunch of sex - there was a story!!
