Review: Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland Winter Wonderland by Heidi Cullinan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars to this Winter Wonderland Happily Ever After

Author Heidi Cullinan finishes this series strong with a great love story and more!!

In Book One Let It Snow we met the three bears of Logan Minnesota, Marcus, Arthur, and Paul - and got to watch as Marcus and Frankie fall in Love. Then in Book two, Sleigh Ride we watch bear number two Arthur as he falls in love with Gabriel while playing Santa and elf for the town library. So now it is only fitting that in this book we get to watch and experience Paul's happily every after.

description

Out of Paul's friends he is the last one who is single at the start of this book. He has watched as his two best friends have found and fallen in love with their soul mates and he desperately craves what they have. While Paul isn't sitting at home and knitting sweaters waiting for Mr. Perfect to land on his doorstep, no he is sampling the men from neighboring towns; however, this is not satisfying his craving and yearning for love and stability. Then he finds his front porch with snow sculptures on it from an admirer, penis sculptures. Paul finds out that those penis sculptures have come from a local man, Kyle, who Paul feels is way too young for him and a bit on the effeminate side.

Kyle is a 25 year old man who knows what or who he wants and that is a stable, real relationship with a man like Paul.. maybe not like Paul.. but actually Paul. He realizes after examining his feelings he has always had a bit of a crush on Paul and maybe its time to act on it..

I have to admit this was my favorite book of the three in the series. I really enjoyed watching Kyle and Paul fall in love and the way Kyle may have appeared to soft for Paul.. but as it turns out he is bit toppy and exactly what Paul needs.

I loved the way Kyle was with his family and especially the relationship between him and his sister who has Downs Syndrome. This story was full of "feel-good" vibes that just made you want cry as your heart ached with joy.
