32 years young... born and raised in California, did a stint in Oregon only to return to the Golden State. qualities, but author Haley Faiman has made a point of making Maggie a well-
rounded protagonist. Maggie is trying to pick up the pieces from her broken
marriage and move on from her husband’s betrayal. She is questioning
everything she thought she knew, while at the same time discovering who she
really is and what she really wants for the first time in her life. Her journey of self-
discovery takes an interesting turn when she meets Jackson. Their connection is
immediate, their attraction undeniable. It’s impossible not to root for Jackson and
Maggie throughout this story.
