From
Best Selling Author, Lexy Timms, comes a billionaire romance that'll make you
swoon and fall in love all over again.
Jamie Connors has given up on finding a man. Despite being smart, pretty, and just slightly overweight, she's a magnet for the kind of guys that don't stay around.
Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be find with it if her sister wasn't pressuring her to lose weight so she'll fit in the maid of honor dress, her mother would get off her case and her ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.
Determined to step out on her own, she accepts a PA position from billionaire Alex Reid. The job includes an apartment on his property and gets her out of living in her parent's basement.
Jamie has to balance her life and somehow figure out how to manage her billionaire boss, without falling in love with him.
** The Boss is book 1 in the Managing the Bosses series. All your questions won't be answered in the first book. It may end on a cliff hanger.
For mature audiences only. There are adult situations, but this is a love story, NOT erotica.

I'm a
dreamer, a big romantic dreamer who pulled up her jeans and sat down to put the
story I had in my head to paper. Thus SAVING FOREVER was born... and shortly
after THE UNIVERSITY OF GATICA series. My Historical Romance series, HEART OF
THE BATTLE SERIES has just released and I'm currently working on a Billionaire
series that'll steal your heart - BOSSES.

For some reason, a#*h**le men seem to think they can body shame women and then get
engaged to their sisters. Or at least, that's what they do in Lexy Timms', The Boss (and similarly
in Shayla Black's Pure Wicked) when Jaime adds some weight and her fiancée not only body
shames her, but announces that he's in love with her sister Christine. During the engagement
party, Stephen speaks with Alex who happens to be looking for a personal assistant; which
Stephen recommends Jaime since she won't distract Alex due to her lack of beauty. Yes, you
read that correctly; a douche move if I do say so myself. But it is the start of something amazing.
I loved this book! The first novel in the Managing the Boss series, it was an entertaining read
and one I did not regret, except that it ended. Where's the second and when does it come
out?!? I believe this will be the second author that I will need to keep an eye out for the second
book in a series, something that is relatively rare - either I wait patiently or simply pass to the
next series; never have I had to research dates or author release blitzes. I'm restless! Witty,
engaging and especially captivating, The Boss is one book that makes it to one of my favourites
due to the continuous entertainment from Lexy Timms.
