Some sort of Happy is LIVE!

Synopsis
Skylar Nixon is a twenty-seven year old failed actress with no Plan B. After a humiliating stint on a reality TV show crushes what’s left of her childhood dream, she finds herself back in her hometown with no money saved, no college degree, and no confidence she’s anything but a joke—a small town starlet who couldn’t hack it in the big city.
When she runs into former classmate Sebastian Pryce, she can’t believe the hot body and chiseled jaw belong to the shy, troubled loner she knew ten years before. He’s not exactly friendly at first, and she’s heard the rumors about his tragic past, but something in his sad eyes intrigues her. She only wants to get to know him better.
Until the night she wants more—and takes it. (Hard and deep. Twice.)
Are they just two lonely people seeking solace? Or can a disgraced beauty queen and flawed, frustrated man find some sort of happy ever after?
**SOME SORT OF HAPPY is a full-length, dual POV novel, complete with a happy ending.**

Some Sort of Happy (Skylar and Sebastian)
A Happy Crazy Love Novel
Melanie Harlow
Contemporary Romance
Five stars
Level 3 for Heat

Get ready to ride the emotion roller coaster because this book has all the feels.

Sebastian Pryce. I barely recognized him. Ten years ago he was a shy, awkward loner who could barely look me in the eye. This guy is chiseled and gorgeous and staring at me with scorching intensity...like he wants me naked.

I want him that way too. Why won't he let me in?

****

Skylar Nixon. She's even more beautiful than I remember. Ten years ago she was an impossible dream, and now she's right here in front of me, offering everything I ever wanted.

But happiness never lasts, not for someone like me.

****

He's the most complicated, frustrating, beautiful man I've ever met, and my body craves his with a hunger I've never known. My heart is his completely.

Some people aren't easy to love. But we fall for them anyway, don't we?

** SOME SORT OF HAPPY is a standalone contemporary romance novel. **

“From the moment I saw you again, I knew you could undo me. I knew I should stay away from you, but I couldn’t. I can’t. The only thing I can do is make you mine.”

Some Sort of Happy is beautiful story about two broken individuals finding comfort, acceptance, friendship and ultimately love in each other.

Sebastian Pryce. You will fall madly in love with him. You just want to wrap him in your arms and give him the biggest hug. To let him know that he deserves to be loved too.

I think that a lot of us can relate to Sebastian on some level. I know that I totally get his numbers fixation. I hate odd numbers and my birthdate would be perfect if I wasn't born in an odd year. And I'm completely out of hand when it comes to loading the dishwasher. It's my way or the highway.

But I digress. It takes a truly gifted author to take a serious mental condition and balance it with the right amount of light humor, romance, and sizzle. And Melanie Harlow does just that. Her stories flow so effortlessly that you don't realize how wrapped up in the story you are until it's over. And you're left wanting more. And more. Because her characters are relatable.

Some Sort of Happy is a must read if you like your heroes broken and flawed.

PS - there might be an appearance by Lucas and Mia.
